So I had a doctor's appointment today, and I had forgotten to buy an onion in my shopping earlier. So I popped into the supermarket next door to the doctor's, and wondered why everything had yellow sale stickers on it. Turned out they were closing down, and everything was about 80 pence or so, special closing offer. I got three bottles of spirits for about a fiver, and several packets of luxury fancy crisps, and some fancy Cheddar cheese shortbread, etc etc etc.
Now I'm piddled.
Yes, I forgot the onion.
